About Us
Established in the year 1990, Padmavahini Transformers Private Limited is an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization engaged in manufacturing and exporting a wide range of voltage transformers, power and distribution transformers. Our range of products includes Dry Type Transformer, Power Transformer, Converter Duty Transformer and Distribution Transformer. These are catered to numerous industries such as textile industry, steel industry, tea estates, foundry smelting and many more. Our organization was started as a rewinding and repairing service provider which later gained expertise as a leading manufacturer of electrical transformer and voltage controlling device. Due to our state-of-the-art infrastructure facility, we are able to fabricate voltage transformers of capacity upto 20 MVA, 66 KV voltage level, electroplating rectifier transformers and automatic voltage regulator. Our range of products is quality tested to ensure highest standards of performance & efficiency, constant and correct supply of electricity, and capacity to withstand high surge level. Under the able guidance of our mentor Mr. Vathirajan Raghupathy, our organization has scaled to the new heights of success. He is a technocrat with a Diploma and Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. His rich industry experience and technical expertise in the concerned industry has helped us to associate ourselves with our major clients such as M/s. About Director
Shri R.Vathirajan, Managing Director of M/s.Padmavahini Transformers Pvt. Ltd., is a technocrat with a Diploma and Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He has more than 25 years of practical experience in the field of distribution and power transformers.
Immediately after his schooling, he started his job career in transformer industry in the year 1982 as an assistant. After that, through evening college, he finished his Diploma and then Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He has a very sound knowledge and experience in the field of transformers right from the design to dispatch.
AWARDS WON BY THE PROMOTER
1.Received Special Award for transformer servicing from Friends Cultural Academy, Chennai on 10th July, 1999, at Coimbatore. Award given by Dist. Collector Shri Santhanam.
2.Received UZHAIPPAL UYARNTHA UTHAMAR Award (This is the Award given for those who came up in life by means of hard work and sincerity) from RAJ TV on 3rd June, 2001. Award given by Chief Justice (Retd.) Gokulakrishna.
3.Received RASHTRIYA RATTAN AWARD from Global Economic Council, New Delhi on 23rd August, 2001 at Bangalore. Award given by Hon’ble Shri A.Krishnappa, Minister for Animal Husbandry of Sugar, Govt. Of Karnataka.

Company Profile
With the strong practical experience and his own interest in the electrical field, in the year 1996, after finishing his graduation, R.Vathirajan started his own company called M/s.Padmavahini Transformers Pvt. Ltd as a service provider in a very small rented premises (about 1000 sq.ft.). Initially he was offering minor services to the major industries at site itself. During the course of which, with his Engineering knowledge (Theoretical and Practical), he could solve certain critical problems faced by the customers. These earned him a good name and reputation in the industrial circle as a reliable and knowledgeable Engineer. Then he started rewinding and repairing services. In course of time, with the support from the satisfied customers, the Company has grown up. Now, the company is offering services in various fields like general servicing, rewinding, repairing, conversion of the voltage level, conversion of off-circuit transformers to On-load tap changer transformers and attending to very critical problems and giving solutions and solving the problems, etc. The company has undertaken major service work in various transformers of different capacities ranging from 100 KVA to 10 MVA of various voltage levels upto 110 KV. With the varied experience and the knowledge gained on servicing of various transformers, the Company started manufacturing their own transformers in the year 2001.

Customized Products
Owing to our rich industry experience, we are able to fabricate a precision engineered range of electrical transformers & voltage controlling devices. We have gained expertise in manufacturing and servicing of transformers ranging from 5 KVA up to 20 MVA with 66 KV voltage level. With the assistance of our team of experts, we are able to fabricate our range of transformers, chokes and coils as per the specifications detailed by our clients. We can provide our clients with power engineering products in compliance with customer''s requirement. Our technicians and engineers analyze industry specific requirements of our clients and then draft an assessment report. Based on the report, we execute the fabrication of electrical transformers & voltage controlling devices. Besides customized fabrication, our clients can avail from us the facility of erection and commissioning. |

Our Infrastructure
The company has grown up well and moved to their own well equipped premises of about 40000 sq.ft. at Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, India with an easy access to road, rail and air transport.
The Company is equipped with all tools including over head cranes for undertaking service and manufacturing of transformers of all sizes. A testing laboratory with modern and accurate instruments is installed to ensure quality and accuracy of the products.
The Company has the capacity to undertake manufacture and servicing of all types distribution and power transformers of various ranges. The entire manufacture from the design stage up to and inclusive of testing is carried out by the company. The erection as well as the commissioning is also done according to the specific requirements of the customers.
The Company is now accredited with ISO 9001:2008 by TUV on 20th August, 2009.
